About the size of two rice bowls (one on top of the other) it has vertical ribbed lines on the outside and opens in half to reveal a grey-black speckled glaze on the inside. Exclusive to The Japanese Shop, this is a very good quality Japanese bowl which could be used to present very high end Japanese food! Safe to use in the dishwasher and microwave and robust enough for both home and restaurant use, but should not be used on direct heat or in the oven.
