The Oribe Nagashi Japanese Matcha Tea Bowl is a handmade ceramic chawan finished in rich green glaze flowing naturally into soft ivory tones. Its gently asymmetric form and natural glaze variation give every bowl its own character.
Wide and balanced at 500ml, it offers plenty of room for whisking matcha into a smooth froth and feels comfortable held in both hands.

Oribe ware developed around the turn of the 17th century and is closely associated with tea master Furuta Oribe. It became known for expressive shapes and distinctive green glazing that stood apart from more restrained ceramics of the period.
