Gosu (呈須) is a deep cobalt blue pigment derived from natural minerals, used in Japanese ceramics for over a thousand years. Tokusa (木賊) is the Japanese horsetail plant — a slender reed whose segmented form has been a beloved motif in Japanese decorative arts for centuries. Clean lines, natural rhythm, nothing wasted. Gosu Tokusa is that honesty, painted onto clay.
