This is one of the most atmospheric prints from Katsushika Hokusai’s masterwork, the 36 Views of Mount Fuji. Crafted using the same traditional techniques as the original, with painstakingly hand-carved cherry tree woodblocks and vibrant colours applied layer by layer. Supplied with a stylish black wooden frame and a Japanese Certificate of Authenticity.

Enoshima is a small island off the coast of Kanagawa, long regarded as a sacred site and a place of pilgrimage in Japanese culture. Hokusai’s depiction captures the island’s spiritual atmosphere — boats on the water, figures making their way to the shore, and the ever-present silhouette of Mount Fuji in the distance. From his series 36 Views of Mount Fuji (1830–1832), widely regarded as his finest work.
