This authentic kimono feels very soft, is fully lined and has those lovely traditional style kimono sleeves. 'Aka' means red and 'gawa/kawa' means a river in Japanese, its vertical stripes of burgundy red and cream pattern gives the impression of a 'red river'. The red colour scheme continues in lining as you can see the bottom of the lining is in a beautiful burgundy red. From our vintage (pre-owned) collection, it is in excellent, almost brand new condition! Simply wrap left over right and tie off loosely using a belt or obi which are available to purchase separately, we recommend the red one (see below!) to go with the colour scheme but you may want to try other colour to accent it.
